Nice cafe on the first floor, good 🎂 attentive service noticed us

A very nice cafe in the middle of the village of Schluchsee. We were the first guests today and were greeted in a friendly manner straight away. Breakfast was delicious. Is definitely to be recommended. The cake counter also offers a lot of choice. When asked I was assured that everyone was baked because the breakfast was plentiful, we had no space left for cakes but we will be back.

Nice atmosphere, very tasty home-style cooking (Maultaschensuppe, Schinkenbrettle etc). Everything great.

Cute cafe for cakes, coffee and fruhstuck. The Kirschen Torte we had here was extremely good, and almost melted in the mouth. The prices are also reasonable as compared to other touristy cafe in the nearby area. Staff was polite and friendly.

Delicious and very friendly! There was a short waiting period, there was also a question whether everything was OK.

The food is very good and the selection is good too. However, we had to wait a long time for the food.

Food was good, 2 star deduction for waiting too long when ordering. Furthermore, at no point did the staff ask whether they would like to order anything.

Very bad. The pizza was frozen, half of the salad was canned vegetables. The cake was not good either. You make your money here with tourists and since they only come once anyway (and come in regularly), you have no shame to offer such a "meal". You basically pay for a place on the terrace. However, about every restaurant here has a terrace and most are good. You can save yourself a visit to this café here.

Amazing homemade black forest cake. It is a must if you are visiting this cafe.

Nice place to stop for a coffee and a piece of cake. All cakes are homemade, including the waffles.

Best place for a black forest cake, the owner bakes it him self with a family recipe that runs for generations.

The food is ok... but not special The coffee is tastes bad and is small No paper towel given. The black forest cake is ok But not special The portion is asinated ... means an authentic caucasian man needs to order at least two cakes to be full filled Double cake and tiny cuffi = whooping +8 Euros !!!
